"Chills" CH. Festiva Chills and Thrills

Notable Whippet Boys of The Past
"Dodger" CH. Oxford's Stetson

Dodger is the start of Festiva Whippets. He was Kelly’s choice at 9 years old for her first Junior’s dog. He was outgoing and loving and everything that a kid could ask for. We will never forget little Kelly trying to lift this big male dog onto the table and his legs hitting the edge prompting the judge to come over to assist. He was a great teacher to a handler that would later grow up and handle many dogs to their Championships and much more.
Dodger was a litter mate to the infamous Multi BISS CH. Chelsea Drakkar at Oxford, ROMX, CH. Oxford’s Paloma and CH. Oxford’s Passion (dam of Multi BISS CH. Festiva’s Knickerbocker, ROMX)
“Rest in Peace my sweet boy”
"Nick" Multi-BISS Select CH. Festiva's Knickerbocker, ROMX

Nick was the pick puppy from the first litter for Festiva Whippets. I did not want to keep a male but no one wanted a show male. The longer he stayed it became evident that he would never leave. During his lifetime he won multiple specialties and sired many Champions. He is still remembered in the whippet world today. His most famous offspring was Blair, BIS/SBIS CH. Watch Me Frolic at Dengayle was a tribute to her sire.
"Brad Pittly" CH. Tru-Luv Star is Windborn at Festiva

Pittly at two years of age.

Brad Pittly and two of his outstanding producing daughters, Denim and Suede.
Brad Pittly’s biggest achievement is being our families beloved companion. His second biggest achievement has been in the litter box. Brad only produced two litters but thos puppies have his wonderful temperment, his love of food and his long neck. We are seeing these qualities in his grandchilden also! In the show ring Brad Pittly was a superstar who finished quickly. He placed 4th in open at the national in Greensborough NC and 4th in veterans this past year in Tucson Az. Crossed the bridge on 9/5/2014

Notable Whippet Girls of The Past
"Lizzy" CH. Oxford's Passion, ROMX

Lizzy is the foundation to Festiva Whippets. We aquired her 2 months after bringing home her brother, Ch. Oxford’s Stetson for Kelly. During all the visits with Dianne I fell in love with Lizzy’s beautiful half face and feminine looks. Lizzy did not like showing so we were lucky to get her finished but she excelled in the whelping box. Her first litter produced Multi-BISS Ch. Festiva’s Knickerbocker and his sister, Multi Group winning Ch. Oxford Festiva Berryetta.
"Limoge" CH. Oxford's Limoge at Festiva, ROM

You will be missed! Jan. 20, 1992 – June 11, 2007
Moe came to live at Festiva after Ch. Festiva’s Knickerbocker was bred to his grandmother, Ch. Chelsea Saffron, ROMX for her last litter. Since Festiva already had two Sissy kids with Dodger and Lizzy I opted to take the pick bitch when Dianne Bowen bred Ch. Oxford’s Paloma of Chelsea (Drake, Dodger and Lizzy’s litter sister) to the Drake son, Ch. Chelsea Cartier at Oxford. This was a very tight breeding and I knew Limoge would be very valuable in the whelping box. This proved to be very true!
Moe has been my heart and soul for over 15 years. The whippet world knew her as the overly friendly whippet that tailed me everywhere. Fences did not keep us apart. Moe had a habit of jumping a 6’ fence regularly as the car pulled into the driveway just to come out and greet me.
Jan. 20, 1992 – June 11, 2007
The following are Moe’s kid’s from the her three litters sired by:
